A few photos

  • It’s been really cold and mostly grey but yesterday (6.15) we had a half day of sun, which was much needed. The air temperature remained really chilly (about 40) but the sun was nice and I may have even been sunburned (but it could be wind burn, hard to say). Our crewman, Dustin, is here and, as expected, our productivity is up now that there are three of us working. We salvaged lots of wood from the beach and now are stocked for sauna wood for the summer. It’s always a chore finding enough wood to burn in a pace with no trees. Most of the wood we burn is washed up from old buildings, dunnage that fell off ships out at sea or beaver-chewed willow branches that washed down river.
